Rupal Jindal

Rupal is a Senior Consulting Engineer at Modality Solutions, where she collaborates with biopharmaceutical companies to develop innovative cold chain engineering strategies and ensure confidence in regulatory submissions.

With deep expertise in cold chain logistics, she assesses end-to-end supply chains and provides both engineering and regulatory guidance to streamline transport validation. Rupal leads risk assessments, develops comprehensive mitigation strategies, evaluates OQ studies, recommends thermal shipping solutions, and designs PQ protocols. Her work has supported 7+ successful regulatory approvals across global markets for a wide range of biopharmaceutical products.

She applies a data-driven approach to solving complex cold chain challenges—designing ambient test profiles based on climatic data, building global transport study frameworks for large drug portfolios, and validating monitoring devices and software for pharmaceutical applications.

Rupal is also actively engaged in research, leading design of experiments (DoE)-based transport studies to evaluate product damage boundaries and assess their relevance to emerging transportation modes.

An active member of ISTA, she serves on a committee and was a featured speaker at the 2025 ISTA Forum.

Rupal holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
