He accomplishes this complex process by understanding environment and infrastructure, designing controls, and creating monitoring systems. Prior to launching Modality Solutions, Gary concentrated on life sciences. His focus has been on biologics, tissue heart valves, cardiac monitoring equipment, and perfusion systems.

    Daniel Littlefield is an expert in process improvement, safety, and security with experience in a wide variety of industries. During his 18-year career with DuPont, he held a variety of technical and supervisory assignments in research and operations starting in Teflon® research. Focused on risk assessments and operational improvements, Dan has successfully led clinical trial operations and assessment around the globe. He leads engineering management and staff development activities at Modality Solutions.

  • Brian Brazill

    Since joining Modality Solutions in 2014, Brian’s roles have varied, but he has primarily assisted in shipping validation in preparation for regulatory submissions. This includes completing tasks like risk assessments, mitigations strategies, shipping studies, and creation of supplemental documents. He also programs and conducts studies within the Advantage Transport Simulation Laboratory™. Brian brings his chemical engineering degree to the study of environmental stresses during transport for each stage of the development process.

  • Hannah Anderson

    In her position as Project and Quality Manager, Hannah Anderson is one of the specialized project consultants for the cold chain management firm. Hannah is assisting a Modality Solutions’ pharmaceutical client with onsite program management of its thermal package engineering services. Her responsibilities also include initiating change controls, NCs and CAPAs. Hannah is responsible for the technical justification of thermal packaging to meet specific product requirements and design, verify and qualification activities when new thermal packaging is required.

    Andrew Larrigan serves as a Modality Solutions Consulting Engineer. Andrew works in part in the Advantage Transportation Simulation Laboratory™, which provides valuable data on the impact of five environmental hazards (temperature, humidity, pressure, shock, and vibration) on the critical-to-quality attributes of products. He helps with the design and execution of a variety of distribution and thermal studies. Andrew attended The Ohio State University where he received his degree in Chemical Engineering.

    Robert Battista is a consulting engineer at Modality Solutions. He works with clients to ensure proper design and use of cold chain systems, writes standard operating procedures for cold chain related processes that meet regulatory requirements, drafts protocols and reports for the qualification of equipment and the validation of processes, reviews data packages for reports, and conducts in-person training for cold chain systems. Robert received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.

    In her position as Consulting Engineer, Kelsey Crawford helps clients with shipping studies. She writes protocols and reports for distribution and thermal testing. Kelsey also works in the Modality Solutions Advantage Transport Simulation Laboratory™ to effectively study the effects of transportation environmental hazards–temperature, humidity, pressure, shock, and vibration on products. Prior to joining the firm, Kelsey worked at Cargill in a Food Safety and Quality Co-Op position. Kelsey attended The Ohio State University where she received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
